Project Overview
Super Cloak is a wearable backpack-based cape system that responds to human gaze.
A camera mounted on the front of the body detects whether another person maintains prolonged eye contact. If the gaze exceeds a defined threshold (approximately five seconds), a hidden fan system is activated, causing a red cape attached to the backpack to dramatically inflate and rise.
The wearer’s body is visually amplified into a larger, more theatrical presence through airflow and motion.
Concept
The project is inspired by certain performative social behaviors and local cultural expressions of confrontation and masculinity.
Rather than addressing these behaviors directly, the work translates them into a humorous wearable system that exaggerates bodily presence and response.
The cloak becomes an interface between social tension and theatrical performance.
Interaction Logic
The system operates through a simple feedback loop:
- Human gaze is detected via camera input
- Continuous eye contact triggers threshold logic
- Airflow system activates hidden fan mechanism
- Cape expands and lifts, increasing visual presence
The interaction transforms an invisible social gesture into a visible physical reaction.
Critical Perspective

概念
在东北，“你瞅啥” 是野性的呼唤，是战斗的宣言。如果不幸与东北大哥对视，随便回答是非常危险的举动。 在东北，最令人敬佩的是“能动手就别吵吵”，我们的产品追求在一言不发的前提下展现舍我其谁的霸气。此款超人披风能够用摄像头判断对方凝视时间，超过5秒身后风扇启动，红色披风随之飘扬。 直接提升穿戴者的气势和魄力，展现侧漏的霸气，进行无言的回击。
交互逻辑
系统基于一个简单的反馈机制运行：
- 摄像头识别人类凝视行为
- 持续对视触发时间阈值判断
- 风扇系统被激活
- 披风被吹起并扩展，增强身体视觉体量
这一过程将不可见的社会行为转化为可见的物理反馈。
批判视角
